We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend, where we mostly shopped, cleaned, and watched movies.   But to preface, on Wednesday morning I turned my head to look at Apollo and heard something go creeeeeeak (that’s a bad sound).  Turns out that I pinched a nerve, and it hurt SO BAD.  By the time I walked to the chiropractor an hour later my head was stuck at an angle and my shoulders were raised up because the muscles were so tight and spasming.  Needless to say I stayed home from work Wednesday through Friday.  I am happy to report that I can now move my head in most all directions, and am hopeful that I can be adjusted by my chiropractor tonight.The weekend was spent in pursuit of a few things, that ended up taking hours and hours to accomplish.  However, we are all cleaned up, Steven got an additional set of drawers (he claims I have too many clothes!) and I got a 4 drawer filing cabinet for my music.  The big news is that we purchased a grill (see pictures) for Memorial Day.  However, they were out of propane gas, so Steven had to go to a different store Monday to complete our little American dream.  Three hours later he got it together, and we happily grilled some hot dogs and hamburgers.

We saw Shrek the Third, which was actually pretty good and highly enjoyable.  :)  We also saw Pirates of the Caribbean – At World’s End, which I have so many opinions about it really deserves it’s own blog.  Let’s just say I expected it to end differently.  Tonight I leave for Florida for Jenn and Andrew’s wedding!  I am hoping that my neck will be all better by tonight or that red eye could be mighty long and uncomfortable.  Steven will come Friday night on the red eye for the wedding on Saturday.  We get back Sunday night, and I will blog at you then!
