We are getting excited about the move to Glendale…. I am not kidding when I say that it took me 18 minutes to get from work to our neighborhood last night.  That is a far cry from the 45… 60….75 minutes it takes me to get to and from the Valley now!  Steven and I both went straight to the house last night from our respective work places, and it was pretty easy.  After dropping off a few things we grabbed a kabob plate at the place down the hill (that’s right, Victoria’s going ethnic!) and then drove around to explore. 

There is a precious little area just a few blocks up from us called Kenneth Village.  It’s a block and a half of adorable little old-timey shops and cafes.  A little further up the hill is the Brand park, with a beautiful grand entrance and grounds.  There is a museum, library, and arts center all in this complex.  Between the lack of traffic, great people, and fabulous neighborhood, we are pretty darn excited!  Put your requests in now for visiting times, our calendar is filling up fast! J
