It’s no secret that we have wanted to move, well, since we moved into our apartment 2 years ago.  I’m very excited to say that we will be moving (finally), and into a house!  We did the rental lease and deposit yesterday for a house in Glendale, California. Glendale is in between Burbank and Pasadena, and is a lovely area.  As you can see on the map (click the link), it is actually 5 blocks into Glendale, we consider it more Burbank. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=1249+thompson,+glendale,+ca+&sll=34.141362,-118.274689&sspn=0.121049,0.2314&ie=UTF8&ll=34.163097,-118.276062&spn=0.060509,0.1157&z=13&om=1 It is a three bedroom two bath single story house, and the landlord and his family live in the backhouse on the property.  There is a lovely garden in the front yard (which the landlord takes care of!), a fireplace, and hard wood floors.  As you can imagine, this is a big step up from our one bedroom apartment! We have the keys already and will start moving things over gradually in the next couple of weeks.  I’ll post pictures soon!
