The above picture was taken this weekend – that’s Apollo’s playful smile! The picture below is of Steven and Apollo playing – he has this amazing half-twist-jump thing that he does!
This weekend most of our time and energy was focused on trying to find a new place. We went to several places on Saturday, and the last one was great- 2 bedroom duplex in Burbank, all redone, with a beautiful private backyard. We had been calling and emailing with no response. Sunday we went back and talked to a realtor who was there showing the properties, but only for purchases, not rentals. He helped us get in touch with the realtor, who finally called us back a couple hours later. She had (of course) already rented the one we wanted that very morning. We were pretty upset. We drove back over there yesterday evening to just check out the neighborhood, when we happened upon a 3 bedroom house for rent. The people were actually there so we went in and saw it. It was a really interesting mix of old retro fixtures and brand new carpet and appliances. The back yard is seriously bigger than our current apartment, and has fruit trees and roses galore. It was a little out of our budget, so we asked them last night if they would be willing to come down in price. We’re still waiting to see. Basically it seems like lots of time and not much to show for it! We are praying that the right place become apparent and we are sure that God will help us get the perfect home for us We did chill out on Saturday night and went to see “Ocean’s 13″ – which was very well done and very funny. We really enjoyed sitting in the AC and laughing  I would definitely recommend it if you like those movies!

The deamon puppet poodle picture is so frightening that it almost injured Victoria trying to explain it to a group of onlookers. It should be banned from computer screens everywhere. Poor pup.
