The picture above is from when my parents were here, just wanted to share!I’m behind on blogs, so here’s what we did on Labor Day weekend. We cleaned up and went shopping to spend my birthday gift cards. We also went to the Autry National Center (American west museum) where we purchased the tool you see Steven using in the picture below. We also saw a concert at the Hollywood Bowl in tribute to Paramount Pictures, with the orchestra playing scores to the film while it was projected on the big screens. And, it was narrated by Leonard Nimoy! On our Monday off, we did the following:1. Slept late (well, until 9 am, but that’s pretty good for us)2. Played with Apollo.3. Jessi came over and we grilled. (see the picture)
4. Jessi and I battled the infestation of ants in my car and bought sewing stuff at Jo-ann’s.
5. Jessi and I tried to sew but didn’t get much accomplished.
6. The three of us went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the IMAX theatre with the ending in 3D. Unfortunately, the projector burned out about 2 hours into the movie, just as we reached the climax in 3D. We got our refund, but still were annoyed.
All in all, it was very fun
