Pets for the Environment

Tuesday was Earth Day, and I hope that everyone thinks about ways to please try to protect our Earth. Not using plastic shopping bags, or recycling/reusing those bags is a great step! I recently found a company called Bio Bag that makes 100% biodegradable trash bags – very cool.

Apollo wants to be a green puppy, and so I was happy to hear about http://www.petsfortheenvironment.org/. This is a website sponsored by Environmental Working Group (EWG), who are the people that first raised my awareness of leaching plastic water bottles, what foods you should always buy organic, etc.

The YouTube video is by Eddie, the spokesdog of Pets for the Environment, and Apollo is featured at about 2 minutes in!
