I had professional pictures taken yesterday for me to use for general promotional purposes. I have never done this for oboe, and since I am now a full time musician I thought I should have some.

Well, tomorrow I will be off to audition in the windy city of Chicago!
This weekend it was SO hot in LA that the only logical thing to do was to go see long movies in nice air-conditioned theaters.
After Mike and Keri’s reception Ron and Nick Cattafi drove me to Orlando so I could catch my early morning flight on Sunday to Rochester, NY. I had the afternoon to try to get my reeds acclimated before my audition on Monday morning.
The big reason for the trip to Florida, was of course, to celebrate the marriage of Michael and Keri. The rehearsal on Friday went well, and the rehearsal dinner following was a lot of fun.
After spending a few great days with Dana and Rob, I rented a car and drove to Vero Beach with a quick stop in Jacksonville to see my family for lunch. I wish we had more time together, but we made the most of it!
Since I am trying to blog chronologically (or I will otherwise forget things), here are some pictures from my visit with Dana and Rob, the first stop in my Florida trip.
