This past Thursday, September 11, was Steven’s birthday. While we always will associate that date with remembrance of the terrorist attacks, we also want to celebrate the day Steven was born! I made him a “funfetti” cake from scratch, with rainbow chip icing (thanks to Dave and Heather for getting Steven hooked!). His birthday present from me was a shirt from a great TV show “Firefly”:

So I’m here in Clermont, Florida with Steven’s parents preparing for my Orlando Phil audition tomorrow. Tuesday we had dinner with my Grandma, and yesterday we went to visit Stetson! We had lunch with Michelle, then I visited with Dr. Adams, played for Mr. Hose and Mrs. Dr. Adams and Hassan, and sat in a little of orchestra rehearsal. Then we had dinner with Craig, Amy, and baby Hannah! So sweet
