I’m back from my audition tour – wasn’t advanced in either audition (Orlando or Albany) so don’t get excited, we’re not moving! They were both good experiences, though, and I’m glad I went. Thanks to Steven’s parents who were very supportive and helpful in carting me around everywhere! The picture above was taken after the Orlando audition – Janelle, Elizabeth W., and Elizabeth S. had lunch with us.
I also got to see my Great Aunt Helen who lives in Orlando –
Saturday I flew up to Albany to prepare for the audition on Monday. Sunday I went to church at the First Presbyterian Church of Albany, which was next to Washington Park. That Sunday they actually had the service outdoors in the park, with a picnic following. The people were all really welcoming, and the church (built in late 1880s) has multiple original Tiffany stained glass windows. Just beautiful!
Later that day I also went to the New York State Museum, which was neat and even better, free. Here is the New York State Capital building, which looks like a huge castle!
I was very happy to get home to Steven and Apollo – Apollo has literally torn this toy to rags but he loves it so much!
