Today is Labor Day, and Steven is off work! This is also the last day before I leave for my two upcoming auditions. I was up at 6:00 am to try to get acclimated to Eastern Time before I am expected to be coherent for my auditions later this week. I had hoped to see the sunrise, but forgot about the marine layer. Still, the clouds over the mountains were beautiful:

Saturday we celebrated both of our birthdays, complete with an amazing cake covered with icing tulips from Paradise Bakery (above and below):

Then we saw the latest Mummy movie, which was rather silly but still we laughed very hard.

Yesterday I think I spent 8 hours straight on reeds… this cannot be healthy. I look forward to spending time with Steven and Apollo before I leave tomorrow!
