What’s going on
Two weekends ago I was in Orlando, FL (again!), this time for my Grandma Newton’s 80th birthday party. It was a big event with lots of family I hadn’t seen in a really long time, so it was wonderful to go and celebrate together. The picture above is my parents, Aunt Evelyn and I singing as entertainment! I don’t have too many pictures, but hopefully I’ll put more up soon.
The past couple of weeks I’ve just been busy getting ready to start teaching by day, and gigging by night! I will be playing “The King and I” presented by Cabrillo Music Theatre in Thousand Oaks in October. I’m really excited, and also excited that the role of Anna will be played by Deborah (Debbie) Gibson, who I loved in the 80s.
Steven’s had a crazy time at work lately, we’re hoping things will calm down now that the fall season is underway. We were very excited to note that an important portion of the Heroes premiere was filmed at our church! The outside courtyard at the hospital and chapel that Nathan Petrelli prays in are all Hollywood Presbyterian Church!
