Whirlwind

fall tree
Occasional fall colors make the hot weather almost feel like fall :)

It feels like the last couple of weeks have just been a whirlwind! Steven went to Florida for a long weekend visit a couple of weeks ago, and I kept busy by playing a San Fernando Valley Symphony concert and giving a Tea Party!

Steven’s Grandma Leissing had an 80th birthday party which he was able to attend:

Here are pictures from my tea party, with several tasty fall treats!

Steven was only home for 24 hours before he was off to Toronto, Canada for a couple of days of business meetings. That weekend I played 2nd oboe with the Santa Cecilia Orchestra on an all-Latin program, which was a lot of fun.

Last Tuesday was Keri’s birthday – Happy birthday Keri!!! :-D

This weekend Steven and I were both under the weather, but thankfully I didn’t have any concerts this weekend. Happily, I am working every weekend until the new year! The newest development is that I will be subbing in the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra this coming weekend! So after cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for Steven, I’ll be flying on Friday to Jacksonville to stay and play with my parents!

Apollo has been very needy with all of this travel craziness:

Steven is very proud of his little navel orange tree, which is looking very promising!

Ok, you are now caught up!
