Just for fun, above is a picture of my parents and I from Thanksgiving weekend when I played with the Symphony in Jacksonville!

It’s hard to believe but it has officially been over a year since I left the LA Phil to do music full time. 2008 was a wonderful year full of children, music, and more opportunities than I would have imagined. People always say that time goes by faster when you are older… I don’t know if that is true but it is shocking to think that a year ago this weekend I was going to Savannah for a girls weekend with Jenn and Dana, who was pregnant with Bryan. It seems like I was just there.. and now this weekend I am meeting Dana in Jacksonville to have a girls weekend with, and host a baby shower for, Jenn!

My big project this past weekend was organizing all the Tupperware that came in! As you recall, I ordered this Tupperware in Arizona and it was drop-shipped to me, arriving on Friday. I basically spent the weekend cleaning and organizing the entire kitchen and pantry for the new arrivals – so fun!
