Steven and I had a lovely Memorial weekend. We enjoyed having Rachel over for a grilled lunch with beautiful weather outside. We also managed to spend some time together while planning the trip to Europe, while I am still preparing for the audition in San Diego tomorrow. We are taking our time acquiring the things we need to take for our trip in June, but are all set with walking shoes, a man bag for Steven and a shoulder bag for me.

Last weekend Steven, Jessi and I went to the Oxnard Strawberry festival, which was a much larger event than we had anticipated. Apparently there are thousands of people in Southern California that like strawberries as much as I do! We had meat on a stick, grilled corn, make your own strawberry shortcake, strawberry wine…. and of course, we left with 10 pounds of fresh strawberries! Pictures to come at some point….
